Tis the season for eating, eating, and more eating.
Parties at work, parties with friends, parties with family…everywhere I turn there seems to be another event to bring food to.
If you’re looking for a dessert recipe that is easy, yet jazzed up, and guaranteed to be a crowd pleaser, this one is perfect. I feel like I say that in every recipe I post.
But it’s true; yet again.
Here’s what you will need:[unordered_list style=”bullet”]
- Dark chocolate brownie mix
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 3 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Heath bar topping or crumbled Heath candy bar
Mix brownies according to box directions, and add chocolate chips to the batter. Bake and let brownies completely cool (I find that the boxed brownie mixes are better than homemade, but you can certainly bake these from scratch if you prefer).
Beat cream cheese, butter, and vanilla together until light and fluffy. Gradually add in powdered sugar until fully mixed. Spread over cooled brownies, and top with Heath Bar crumbles, or any topping you prefer! Refrigerate until ready to eat; these are best served chilled!
Try to share and resist the urge to eat them all yourself. They are that good.
Happy holidays, friends!
