Tuesday Truth: Liberation

Ever have those days when you feel like you just can’t wait  for the moment when you have no more struggles, no more temptation, and no more brokenness?

A life free of struggles can be difficult for us to even comprehend because our life is so full of them here on earth. But one day, one sweet day, they will be no more.

Thank the Lord that we serve a God who is patient, merciful, and understanding with His children as we go through growing pains and learn to overcome “strongholds” in our lives. Praise the Lord that He does not leave us on our own to find victory, but gives us the strength we need to overcome.

“Long-term liberation comes from accompanying God on a trek to 1) identify the problem, 2) demolish the stronghold, and 3) continue to walk in the truth. The first step takes one moment. The second and third steps represent a process because getting to know the Healer is more important than finding healing.” – Beth Moore Breaking Free

Thank you Lord that you care to know me, even in my brokenness. And that you desire for me to know you, as I grow and seek your truth and love in my life. Thank you that you care to refine me through the process of learning and obeying, instead of leaving me as I am in my sin.

Your love alone, is unfailing and unconditional. It is only this perfect love, that motivates me to change.

“Though the mountains be shaken
and the hills be removed,
yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken
nor my covenant of peace be removed”,
says the Lord, who has compassion on you.
