Even when we feel like our life is out of control, God is in control of everything. Little and big.
“So that from the rising of the sun to the place of its setting people may know there is none besides me. I am the Lord, and there is no other. I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the Lord, do all these things.” Isaiah 45:6-7
“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters.” Psalm 24:1
When we’ve run short on faith and have failed to obey how God’s called us to live, His mercies are new every day.
“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23
“For as high as the heavens are about the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgresssions from us.” Psalm 103:11-12
When we are tired and feel as if we can take no more, God promises to be our strength. He is all that we need.
“It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he enables me to stand on the heights. He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze.” Psalm 18:32-34
In a world full of so many lies, we are desperately in need of God’s truth. May we cling to it and be set free.
