I’ve been a little MIA with my blog posts lately and I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I desperately want to change the design on this blog but haven’t made the time yet. And I get tired of looking at all the bright dots.
I know you do too.
I am deeply sorry for any dizziness I may be causing you. But I am soo appreciative that you read this anyway!
I’ll get my design team on that one pronto..
Anywho… I wanted to pop in and share a wise word of encouragement. It’s not my word, which is why is it so wise and so perfect. Rather, it belongs to the author and perfecter of our faith:
“Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.'” Isaiah 30:21
These words were spoken to a group of people who literally wandered in a desert for years upon years. Many times they felt lost and confused; discouraged. Their time there was prolonged because of their disobedience, but God never withheld his guidance and blessing when His people sought Him and called on His name.
When you feel lost and discouraged, uncertain of where to go next, remember these words spoken from the mouth of God and remember that they are just as relevant, personal, and true for your life today. God will never forsake those who seek him. He will never leave those who love Him as helpless wanderers.
