We had a short but sweet (and dry) wine tasting and then grabbed a picnic table outside to enjoy the local musician, beautiful property, cheese and crackers, and our favorite wine of the day.
Ever since the day Big Fisch proposed and took me to a winery, we have loved trying out new vineyards and tasting unique flavors of wine.
Thankfully, the east cost is home to many different vineyards, both small and large, so finding new ones to explore does not require too much travel.
Although you wouldn’t hear me complain about taking a trip out West to Napa Valley…
Labor Day called for rain in our area, but we were determined not to allow the weather to keep us indoors.
We got together with our wonderful friends, Jamie and Ashley, and headed out to Chaddsford Winery. It was delightful to say the least!
The Chaddsford Spring Wine was by far our favorite. It was a chilled, sweet, fruity, and light wine that is made each Spring and sold only through the summer. It was so refreshing and perfect for a summer day.
Wonderful company, wonderful wine, and thankfully no rain the whole time we were there!
We spent the rest of the day at Jamie and Ashley’s cozy home playing Hand and Foot and eating warm pizza as the rain fell outside around us.
It was the perfect way to spend Labor Day…. labor free!
