I think the beginning of a new week calls for a renewed, refocused perspective on life.
As B.J. Hoff said,
“It matters not if the world has heard or approves or understands. The only applause we are meant to seek is that of nail-scarred hands.”
It is counter-cultural. It is often drowned out by the lies we hear from society. But it’s solid, foundational truth.
Ground yourself in it this week, friends, and walk in the freedom it brings.
“I will keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure, because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay. You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.” Psalm 16:8-11
